DOES MARA OVERCOME HER FEAR?
At the second sunset, everything is different.
At the second sunset, everything is different.
The campfire crackled quietly while the sun, a yellow-red ball, touched the horizon, and Mara and Kai gazed contentedly over the sea into the distance. Their first vacation in the new motorhome and such a romantic postcard view. Not a cloud in the sky. But something else is overshadowed.
Unlike usual, Kai can no longer reach Mara. Nothing happens in bed anymore. Hurt, he questions the future of the two when his doubts are suddenly swept away by the sight of Mara’s red-stained underwear. Now it dawns on him.
What does the blood have to do with Mara’s pain?
Mara kept avoiding him again and again as he observed her cramps. Kai understands now. And finally, Mara reveals her most intimate worries. The bleeding had been heavier than normal for some time. Added to that is pain in the lower abdomen. And going to the toilet often works only with difficulty. Mara has read a lot and now fears everything possible – could it even be a tumor? Relieved, the two embrace as their fears are spoken aloud.
Time for the premature journey home and an examination.
The campfire crackles again on their second motorhome trip at sunset with a magnificent view over the sea. This time free of worries. Because the cause of Mara’s pain and bleeding is long past. She no longer thinks about the minimally invasive procedure to remove the myomas, which left no scars on the skin. But all the more about how she will now spend the night with Kai.
